Luxflor 12mm Gloss Laminate Flooring Flooring FAQs

The Luxflor 12mm Gloss Laminate flooring presents a beautiful affordable flooring range with a shiny finish. 12mm Luxflor laminates offers AC3 wear rating, 24 hours of water resistance and a gorgeous range of glossy finished realistic hardwood and oak designs. Luxflor’s competitive pricing aims to provide high quality flooring at lower prices. All Luxflor laminates have passed stringent Australian standards testing; abrasions, slip tests, VOC emissions and fire testing.

The 12mm Luxflor Laminates are very easy to clean given their abrasion rating and water resistance. Mopping, sweeping and vacuuming are all great ways to keep your floors clean. Avoid using abrasive cleaning products like paddingless vacuum heads which may scratch away the wear layer. Steam mops are not recommended as the high temperature can cause delamination of the floor’s structure.

Laminate flooring was first introduced by a Swedish company as a method of reusing waste wood for economical and ethical reasons. These planks are first created by deconstructing wood to make it into a pulp, and then fusing them together in order to create a synthetic core. There are three primary layers, which consist of a wear layer, print layer, and HDF core.
