Hybrid flooring is an innovative new type of waterproof flooring, bringing the best characteristics of both vinyl and laminate floors to create an improved floating floor. Hybrid floors are made of multiple layers of materials pressed together and come in a wide range of designs and styles. Hybrid floors are also 100% waterproof and suitable for all areas of the house (including the kitchen, and other wet areas). The top layer is a UV-coated wear & tear layer, the second layer is a decorative print with the desired design, and the centre is a composite core board that is waterproof and stable. Finally, there is an acoustic backing that increases foot comfort and reduces sound resonance. Hybrid flooring is an affordable flooring option and has quickly emerged as one of the most popular floorboards across Sydney.

Aspire RCB Hybrid tiles are the next generation of coreboard technology. The core is manufactured from inert mineral compounds that are stable and provide little or no movement. This enables excellent performance characteristics not commonly associated within the Luxury Vinyl Tile category including water resistance, anti-slip features and lasting durability.

Floating floors include laminate floors, hybrid floors, bamboo floors and even engineered timber (if you are after real wood).

Other “nice-to-haves” include a DIY Flooring Kit (available at Floor venue), spirit levels, tape measures, safety equipment, and work gloves.
Our Aspire Hybrid flooring combines next generation manufacturing techniques with a recently developed product called rigid composite core (RCB) that’s manufactured from mineral compounds that are stable and provide little or no movement, thus enabling excellent performance characteristics. To top it all off, these planks come with a water based PU coating for everyday scuff resistance.
Aspire Hybrid flooring is easy to clean. It requires regular sweeping, use a damp well rung mop occasionally if required. However, do not use steam mops as they can cause significant damage to the planks.
Hybrid flooring is a new and innovative option for your floors that combines the waterproofness of vinyl with the rigidity and scratch-resistance of laminate. Made possible through the use of cutting edge manufacturing technologies, hybrid flooring comes in a wide range of styles that are still affordable and will last. These planks consist of four main layers; A top layer, print layer, core board, and acoustic underlay.
